Analytics allows you to track and compare current as well as historical statistics for your drivers. In this guide, we will briefly go over what kinds of reports you can find in OptimoRoute.

Accessing analytics
The analytics section of the app is available for Pro and Custom plans and appears as a tab in the top menu, next to the "Live" tab.
Analytics helps you get a snapshot of your driver and order performance where you can:
- Analyze past performance
- Improve processes
- Reduce future costs
- Gain insights into business efficiency
All charts are updated live, help you track patterns and identify top performers. The charts help illustrate areas where you can improve your operations. For example, if your drivers are consistently finishing early, you can adjust order durations to fit more orders into your routes.
Data collection
Data is collected and updated in real time when your routes are live. In order to ensure that your data is accurate, we recommend that all your drivers use the OptimoRoute Driver app.
Filters
Data can be filtered by dates and by drivers. You can select different time ranges, be it a day, week, or month. You can also select specific drivers, or view them all at once.
Reports
There are different reports that make up the analytics area. The different reports allow you to frame your drivers’ current or historical data in a number of different ways, like Planned vs. Actual routes, Arrival Accuracy, or Distance Traveled.
Dashboard
The dashboard shows a quick overview of the order status, arrival accuracy, and order type charts from the period selected.
Planned vs. Actual
Planned vs Actual shows order by order how your plan compares to real time for each driver. You can pinpoint exactly where and when a certain driver fell behind, or why another is always ahead.
Order Status
When you click “Details” from the dashboard next to the "Order Status" report, or use the left menu and select “Order Status”, you will see a report that will give a breakdown of order statuses for the time period selected based on either driver (employee) or date.
Rescheduled orders
When you click “Details” from the dashboard next to the "Rescheduled orders" report, or use the left menu and select “Rescheduled orders”, you will see a report that will show:
- Completed orders: Orders that have been successfully completed during the time period
- Not completed orders: Orders with the status failed, rejected or cancelled during the time period
- Rescheduled orders: Orders which have been rescheduled during the time period
- Pending orders: Orders that have the status scheduled, on route, or servicing
Arrival Accuracy
See an overview of on-time vs. delayed orders.
Order Type
See which order types were scheduled over a particular period.
Time Worked
See how many hours your drivers worked over a particular period of time.
Distance Traveled
See how many miles/kms your drivers put in over a particular period of time.
Customer Feedback
Get an overview of your stats from your customer feedback surveys including NPS score, response rate, ratings, and comments.
Plan History
The plan history section is where you can see a complete overview of any route on any day.
