What is commercial truck navigation?
Commercial truck navigation is a built-in GPS feature in the OptimoRoute driver app. It provides turn-by-turn directions and voice guidance to help drivers reach their stops while avoiding roads with commercial vehicle restrictions, such as height and weight limits.
It works with OptimoRoute's commercial truck route optimization to help drivers follow their planned routes.
OptimoRoute truck navigation is available in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Croatian.

Navigation routing results
OptimoRoute Navigation follows the commercial truck route provided by your dispatcher. If the route needs to be recalculated during navigation, it continues to follow commercial truck routing rules.
When calculating routes, OptimoRoute Navigation considers:
Vehicle dimensions and weight: Avoids roads with height, length, width, or weight restrictions.
Tunnels and bridges: Avoids tunnels and bridges with restrictions that are incompatible with your vehicle.*
Steep roads: Avoids steep inclines when alternative routes are available.
Truck access rules: Follows local regulations for prohibited and designated truck roads.
| *If no alternative route is available, navigation may include bridges with weight restrictions. |
