OptimoRoute is available worldwide and therefore has multiple language options to choose from for dispatchers, drivers, and also on tracking pages for your customers. In this article we will cover what languages are available and how to change them.
Changing language in the web app
Dispatchers and other users in the web app have the option of the following 7 languages:
- English
- French
- Spanish
- Russian
- Croatian
- Thai
- German
Language settings can be changed per user in the web app and can be set when adding new users or edited later on.
To change the language for an existing user:
- Go to Administration→Users from the top menu
- Click on the user you want to change the language for
- Choose the language from the dropdown
- Click “Save”
Make sure to advise users to refresh their browser to see the new language applied. |
Changing language in the driver app
The driver app is available in 22 languages and can be chosen directly from the driver app.

To change the language of the driver app:
- Open the OptimoRoute Driver app on your mobile phone
- Click “Settings” in the bottom right corner of the app
- Click “Language” under the application settings
- Choose the language
Changes are automatically saved and applied.
Changing language on tracking pages
The order tracking page is available in 25 languages and can be changed in the order tracking settings in the web app:

To change the language of the order tracking page:
- Go to Administration→Settings from the top menu
- Choose “Order Tracking” from the left menu
- Make sure order tracking is enabled
- Choose the language you want to appear in your tracking pages
- Click "Save"
