Lock routes to exclude from planning

Locking routes helps keep your plans from changing after you’ve finalized them. In this article, we will explain how to do this.

What does locking routes do?

When a route is locked, it is excluded from re-planning. This allows dispatchers to finalize routes once planning is complete and prevent changes when re-optimizing or adjusting other routes. 

Locking routes

You can lock a route from the driver panel or from the routes tab. 

To do this: 

1. Go to “Plan and Optimize” 
2. Go to the driver panel or the routes tab
3. Click on the lock icon next to the driver of the route you want to lock

You can unlock a route by clicking the lock icon again.
