Show route direction on the map

When reviewing planned routes, you can quickly check which direction a route travels without opening individual stops. Hover over a route line on the map to see the direction of travel. This article explains how to view and use route direction on the map.

Viewing planned route direction

To see the direction of a planned route on the map:

1. Open a route map in “Plan & Optimize,” “Live,” or “Plan History.”
2. Hover over the planned route line with your mouse.

The route line animates to show the direction of travel. This makes it easier to see how the route moves from one stop to the next.

Enabling and disabling route direction

To turn this setting on and off: 

1. Open a route map in “Plan & Optimize,” “Live,” or “Plan History.”
2. Hover over the map layer icon in the top right of the map
3. Select or deselect the “Show route direction” checkbox
