You can set a default export format for your account and also choose different formats for individual route export templates. In this article, we will explain how to do this.

Setting the default export format for an account
To choose the default export format (XLS, XLSX, CSV):
- Go to Administration → Settings
- Then find Import & Export → Configuration
- Choose the default export format
This setting applies to all exports, except the Locations export which is always CSV.
| If a format is not supported by a particular export (such as CSV), a supported format will be used automatically. |
Choosing export formats for templates
Custom export templates can be configured to use a specific export format different from the default on the account. To do this:
- Go to Administration → Settings
- Then find Import & Export → Templates
- Select the template you want to edit
- Click "Edit"
- Click "Options" in the top right corner
- Choose export format
- Click "Save"
