Deactivating live routes allows you to remove a route that is currently live or make changes to that route. In this article, we will show you how to deactivate a route.

Deactivating routes
Once your routes are live, you can deactivate those routes in order to make changes or even remove routes.
To deactivate a route:
- Go to "Plan & Optimize"
- Click "Deactivate" on the black status bar
This will deactivate all your routes so that you can make changes to them.
Deactivation will remove these routes from your drivers' OptimoRoute Driver apps but will not erase any of the information collected during their routes.
Deactivation will affect all live routes. |
Reactivating routes
After you have made your changes to your routes, you can reactivate the routes. This will resend the routes to the drivers' apps.
To deactivate a route:
- Go to "Plan & Optimize"
- Click "Reactivate" on the black status bar
- Then from the pop up that will show a summary of all the routes you will reactivate, click "Send now"
