OptimoRoute allows you to add unlimited users for dispatching and administration. In this article, we will go over how to add and manage users.

What is a user?
A user is someone who has access to the OptimoRoute application my.optimoroute.com. As an admin, you can create unlimited users for free under any plan.
Drivers, on the other hand, are billed by license. Learn more about adding and managing drivers here.
Adding new users
To add new users:
- Go to Administration→Users
- Click "Add user"
- Input the email address of the person you want to add in "Username"
- Optionally add their name
- Create a password
- Choose their language and access level
- Click "Save"
The web app is available in 6 languages: English, French, Spanish, Russian, Thai, and Croatian. |
Access levels
There are 3 access levels available for users.
Access level | Definition |
---|---|
Administrator | Administrators have access to all areas and settings of your OptimoRoute account. Administrators also have access to the "Administration" menu and can make changes to account settings, add and edit users, drivers, vehicles, and more. |
User | Users do not have access to the administrator menu but can manage orders, perform planning, view analytics, and monitor live. |
Read-only user | Read-only users can only view the account but cannot make any changes to orders or planning. |
Deleting users
To delete users:
- Go to Administration→Users
- Select the user you want to delete
- Click "Delete user"
You can also restrict access to your account by disabling the user.
