When you send your order tracking notifications, you can also share your drivers' positions out in the field. This article will show you how to configure this.

Configuring driver position settings
When configuring driver position, keep in mind the following:
- Driver position can be visible from as early as 12 hours before the ETA.
- Driver position is shown only if the driver is on-duty.
- Driver's position disappears after the order is completed.
- The landing page / Order tracking link is updated live throughout the day.
To determine how driver position is shared with your customers, you need to:
- Go to Administration→Settings→Order Tracking
- Make sure you have order tracking enabled
- In the “General” section, find “Show driver position”
- Choose the option you want from the dropdown
Then you can also decide what information from the driver you want to share like their name and contact information.
Driver position options
The options available are:
- Always - Driver's position will always be shown.
- Just prior to service (default) - Driver's position is shown 30 minutes before the arrival* which matches when changes to ETA.
- Never - The driver position will never be shared in the tracking page.
