With OptimoRoute, one of the ways you can send optimized routes to all your drivers is by email. In this article, we will show you how to do this.

Sending planned routes via email
To send routes to drivers via email:
- Go to Administration→Drivers
- Double click on the driver(s) you want to send emails to
- In the "Details" section, add a valid email address
- Go to the "Plan and Optimize"
- Choose the date with routes you want to send
- Click the blue "Share routes" button below the map
- Choose "Email routes" and choose one of the options
Email options
The email options available are:
- Send emails to all drivers
- Send emails to selected drivers
- Send all routes to one email
Send emails to all drivers
This option will send the drivers their corresponding routes to the email provided in their profile.
Send emails to selected drivers
This option will allow you to choose specific drivers to send routes to. This requires you to choose the routes from the "Route" tab before selecting the option.
Send emails to one email
This option will allow you send all the routes to one email address that you can input.
Email appearance
The email with the routes will contain the following information:
- Location name
- Address
- Estimated arrival time at the location
- Time window (earliest time allowed to begin the service – latest time to end the service)
- Notes for the driver
- Link to start navigation on the smartphone using one of the installed navigation applications like Google Maps, Bing Maps, Apple Maps, Navigon, TomTom, Garmin StreetPilot and Waze.
The sent emails have a responsive design and will adjust to the driver’s smartphone, tablet or desktop computer.
